The Construction Plant Competence Scheme is one of the most trusted schemes for plant training in the UK. No matter what you do, if you own or hire plant, your operators must have appropriate plant training. At North West Services, we work with you to ensure your plant operators become fully qualified to safely and competently operate their machine of choice. The CPCS card brings standardisation for all plant operators and covers a wide range of plant and related categories. The scheme is comprised of two parts
The first is a theoretical test to assess the knowledge of the plant operator with regards to health and safety, operating the chosen machine, and working on the site.
The second part of the test is a practical test, which assesses the plant operator’s ability to carry out various tasks on the chosen machine competently and safely.
Our state of the art CPCS centre in Ashton-in-Makerfield is the largest in the whole of sector of 4 . Spread over 15 acres, the centre has been designed to cater for plant training in all its formats.
As a fully accredited CPCS Test Centre, we deliver the CPCS Technical Test in line with the latest updates to the scheme for more than 30 categories. Our fully qualified trainers and testers have operational work history as well as an excellent track record in the plant training history.
